Anyone try this company out yet. Each month you pay either 10$ (women) or 20$ (men) and they ship you an awesome customized package of high end products. My girlfriend has been signed up for almost a year and has gotten some amazing samples as well as some full size products. Each month she gets 5 or 6 beauty products. Usually travel size beauty items. She has received a full size Juicy perfume that normally costs $60 and a few other really good deals besides the samples.

I signed up for the men's a few months ago and it's been amazing so far. I usually get a few grooming products some cologne and a cool electronic. I've got three boxes and they have had some skull candy wooden Headphones that are $70 a roomba watch that sells for $40 and a couple cool iPod organizer things. Each box has easily been worth over the 20$ I pay.

It's a great gift for a girlfriend or wife. Anyone else signed up for it what have you received?

I've never heard of it but it looks interesting. I may have to give it a shot.

I've seen these monthly subscriptions for clothing before, which I think is really cool. I've considered signing up for bombfell.com.

Yeah, but there is no commitment. And $70 isn't terrible for premium brand stuff.

Hey sportschampps, did you have to wait a ridiculously long time after receiving your shipment email before your shit actually showed up? I got the email that it shipped on the Sep 25th with a tracking number. It's now Oct 2nd, the tracking number still has no available data, and I emailed them and they said, "Oh, wait until the end of the week for the tracking number to update" or we'll send you another one.

WTF? It said on the tracking page if the info isn't showing after 3 days you should contact the company you bought from.

Seems like $20/month to have more junk in your house. "High end" my ass. It's pure marketing; way to be taken advantage of.

I got my email on the 25th and got my box yesterday. My friend got his email on the 25th and hasn't got his box yet either. I know this ia his first box as well so maybe the first one ships later. I thought this months box was worth the 20 bucks. I got a watch cologne shampoo shaving gel and moisturizer samples. The watch retails for 45$ and it pretty cool because you can buy a little prepaid visa card to use at the tap and go checkouts. It perfect for a run when you wanna stop and buy a water along the way but don't wanna carry your wallet.

Btw I really thought my first months box was the worst I have received. I think the first month they fill the old subscribers boxes then give you whatever's leftover. But besides the first month I've really gotten great items. I know a lot of the time I'll see something one month I wish I woulda received and I'll end up getting it the next month.

Just got this form email from them:
Hi,

Unfortunately, there was a delay in shipping your October Birchbox Man. It's on its way to you now and should be tracking shortly. We're sorry for the inconvenience and we will add 100 Birchbox Points to your account. Remember, 100 points equals $10 toward any full-size product in the Birchbox Shop.
I'm okay with that resolution. A free $10.
