I'd be cool with it just snowing on Christmas Day, and that's it. Last Winter was great!

I hope we get dumped on. I only snowboarded one time last year and the conditions sucked.

We're going to pay the price. El nino contributed to an unusually warm winter last year...meanwhile, other parts of the world saw record lows. This is why they now call it "climate change", because global warming doesn't really fit any more.
It's hot because of man. It's cold because of man. Man not winning.

The more days I'm stranded in my house and don't have to go to work the better.gut;1256168 wrote:We're going to pay the price. Shoveling sucks. Not as bad as driving with morons who can't drive in snow though. The less snow the better!!justincredible;1256180 wrote:The more days I'm stranded in my house and don't have to go to work the better.

Shoveling does suck. Luckily we've got basically nothing to shovel.Rotinaj;1256185 wrote:Shoveling sucks. Not as bad as driving with morons who can't drive in snow though. The less snow the better!!

The way I look at it, if you can't leave your house to go to work, you can't leave your house to shovel outside. And if the neighbors have anything to say about that...the shovel will be used in the spring/summer to take care of what's left of them.Rotinaj;1256185 wrote:Shoveling sucks. I think seeing how its going to be winter I am betting it will get cold at least a few days. Hoping for some snow but who knows. As long as I can get the sled out I will be fine this year.

the sad, or funny thing, about this thread is that I bet a couple on here will be more accurate then the actual meterological experts.

Unfortunately we are expected to be at work during a Level 3 Emergency. If we get pulled over, we have to present our badge to the officer, and he isn't allowed to issue a ticket.justincredible;1256180 wrote:The more days I'm stranded in my house and don't have to go to work the better.

Unfortunately I can technically do my job from my house. But not having to shower is a perk.se-alum;1256381 wrote:Unfortunately we are expected to be at work during a Level 3 Emergency. If we get pulled over, we have to present our badge to the officer, and he isn't allowed to issue a ticket.

I know if I order one, I don't want some pansy giving me some "there's a snow emergency, so no pizza for you" line of bullshit.GoChiefs;1256401 wrote:Pizza delivery is Serious Business after all.

I can as well, but my micromanaging boss won't allow it. He lives a couple blocks from our office (which is in town) while I live out in the country on a road that never gets plowed and have a nightmare of a driveway to get up and down. But back in his day, people just went to work no matter what. No excuses. Etc. etc.justincredible;1256400 wrote:Unfortunately I can technically do my job from my house. He actually refused to believe that my driveway is as bad as it is and then one day he told me that he "somehow ended up on our road by accident and yeah, it is pretty steep". You don't just end up on my road by accident, but I was actually glad that he had finally seen it for himself. Not that it mattered.
Okay. Enough bitching.
