Poland is a force that needs to be reckoned with. Considering they nearly defeated #5 Canton Repository Power Poll team for Stark County and held Dymonte to well below 100 yards...speaks volumes. I am counting on NW bouncing back from a shaky debut and coming out Friday with a different game plan.

Winner of this game is probably the team that gets into the Region 11 playoffs, while the loser may have a much tougher time.

The forecast looks promising - 87 degrees and little chance of rain.
Poland has a very nice turf stadium with generous visitor seating - lets hope the Indian faithful travel well and fill the stands!

I thought Vic Whiting's play calling was questionable against Orrville. That #47 - Bowman for NW is a big kid and I would have been content with him getting 20+ touches if I were a NW fan.
As for NW O and D lines...I was not impressed at all. They are huge up front, but thats about it.

Wasn't terribly impressed with their fans' showing for a home game. Perfect night...opening night, and not a great turnout, IMO.Old Indian;1254948 wrote:The forecast looks promising - 87 degrees and little chance of rain.

I agree 100% with this post. Would love to see Bowman get the ball more...really confused why he didn't. It was also nice to see some of the other younger running backs getting some time. Radcliff looked tough.Old Rider;1255520 wrote:I thought Vic Whiting's play calling was questionable against Orrville. Was shocked at how poor the O-Line looked. You would think for all that size they would be amazing. Never seemed like any holes opened up.
Hopefully Whiting can use this game as a lesson and learn a lot from it. If we can't fix some of the obvious problems from last week then it could be a very long season! So much potential...now it just needs to be realized!
Good luck Indians! Beat Poland!

all of nw lineman have been in that 5 wide system their entire career until now. so althought they are expierenced they are learning a new system than the one they ran previous few years of playing. just light a fire under them and tell em to hit the first thing they see something good is bound to happen!

Northwest will have to win out to get into the Region 11 playoffs, and that might not even be enough. Great job by the Dogs!

Northwest needs to just find away to win week three, not to worry about week 11. and i dont see them winning out ,but if they did rest assure they would make the playoffs. lots off points on our schedule. but i would rather watch this great group of kids play week three right now

It is very unlikely to win games throwing 15+ rainbow bombs in a game. That was difficult to watch.

Didn't get to go to this game...can someone give me a rundown? Saw we threw three interceptions and had another turnover. Did Bowman get the ball much?
