I'm confused as to what "it" is referring to.
If he's saying that he didn't have a problem with the infraction then I don't think this post is an issue.
If he's saying that he didn't have a problem with the post then I agree and this post only creates more controversy. It is one thing to disagree about enforcement of rules in the mod forum. We have different point of views and will not see eye to eye. But voicing that disagreement in the regular forums will only encourage the outrage and questionable behavior of certain posters even more.
Edit: Just read the other thread and it is clearly the latter.
