Why can't people understand that whole empty tissue boxes, OJ cartons, plastic milk jugs, 2 litres, etc don't just go into the trash "as is" without crushing them? There's no need to empty a 13-gall trash can twice in one day unless you're cleaning house.

This is a serious problem which I feel needs discussed in Serious Business. ;)

I've had people throw away boxes in my trash can without crushing them - they've not been invited back since.

Most of that stuff should be recycled and not thrown in the trash.

I quit. I've been /bigcity'd once to often. You guys need to treat me and my lack of a sense of humor better.

Just be happy people are throwing things away. I hate seeing empty boxes, bottles, jugs, or whatever in the fridge or cabinets.

Well, since my two and three year old can't leave stuff in the fridge or crush the garbage; the "people" to whom I'm referring is my wife only lol.
