Cubs are unwinnable. That is all.

Arroyo vs Wood

Standard Reds lineup.

Does standard reds lineup mean Votto is back and frazier was sent down to single A?

Frazier and Heisey were traded to bring back Corey Patterson.

Standard means.....using the available Reds players and incorporating all the rules of Dusty = the lineup

An error. Mainly because of his laziness.

Defense not stellar for either team and the Reds get a run due to it.

Reds up 6-3 as they put up 5 in the 4th. The Toddfather with another homer and Ludwick up to 23. Frazier is really making a strong run for ROTY.

Cool story about the kid with Downs in the Reds dugout being batboy. Awesome seeing Frazier going over to give him a hug after his home run too.

I found this interesting....but not at all surprising.

These 8 Reds players have all scored runs in at least 23 games. Here are the records of the Reds for each players past 23 games with a run scored.

Brandon Phillips (21-2)
Drew Stubbs (19-4)
Chris Heisey (18-5)
Joey Votto (17-6)
Scott Rolen (17-6)
Ryan Ludwick (17-6)
Todd Frazier (17-6)
Zach Cozart (17-6)

You only ever hear about one certain player's record. Since out 25th man has an 18-5 record....I'm thinking a team way over .500 is going to be similar.

Reds manager Dusty Baker said he did not think Travis Wood hit Jay Bruce on purpose after Ryan Ludwick’s home run to start the fourth. “No, every time someone gets hit after a home run, it’s not purpose,” Baker said.
Dear butthurt Pirates fans, this is how you respond to a HBP.

Could you imagine what will happen if someone gets hit in the pirates vs cards series. Holy shit...

The Toddfather is probably my new favorite nickname surpassing The Law Firm. Also, the Cubs are horrible, 2 more wins today would be nice but I'd settle for a Cueto perfect game and a loss.
