Anyone going on roadtrips to see your team this year? I'll be headed to Lincoln to watch Minnesota play the Huskers in mid-November. Excited to see what the atmosphere is like out there.

Knoxville is an awesome place to go for a game. I went down there in 2010 to see a friend and her dad scored tickets to the Oregon/UT game. It was great even better when the Lightning came and people just left... we had some people give us tickets in the 4th row around the 30 yard line.Pick6;1248552 wrote:Contemplating on going down to Knoxville to see Akron play tennessee

May head to Bloomington to see the Bucks roll over the Hoosiers. Fun place for a game, their fans are just there for the party, beautiful part of the country.

I wanted to go up to Minneapolis for the Michigan-Minnesota game to check out their new stadium, but my work/school schedules didn't work out.

Drove to the Ohio State - Nebraska game last year. The drive out there is terribly boring and windy, but Nebraska has a fantastic gameday atmosphere. Fans are as nice as it gets. My buddy and I were invited into someone's backyard and they offered drinks and we talked B1G. We also had lunch at the B Dubs on campus to watch games and they(the campus, not BW3) had a small marching band that walks around and plays and they were even playing Ohio State songs. Texas was getting massacred by Oklahoma and they were all hooting and hollering, they fucking hate Texas.
You won't be disappointed you go, by far the best road trip I've been on non-game wise.

Yeah I've heard it's an awesome place to watch a game. If I go, it will definitely be for the experience.Mikey McD;1248559 wrote:Knoxville is an awesome place to go for a game. I've gone on road trips to:
OSU @ Illinois (twice)
OSU @ Northwestern (twice)
OSU @ Minnesota (Metrodome)
OSU @ Purdue
OSU @ Wisconsin
OSU @ Michigan
Boise State @ Toledo
This fall I'm heading to South Bend to take in my first Notre Dame game when they host BYU.
Honestly, Northwestern is my favorite place I've been for a game. Friendly fans, cool campus right on the lake, nice stadium. I've been to South Bend and on ND's campus several times, but have never been to a game there before and I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Just put in my vacation request for the IU game. I am sure I will be able to scalp tickets. I got into the purdue game for 15 bucks last year.
