First off, Touched isn't his new book...it's the old one.

Secondly, he'll get beaten to death before he can finish the new one...so it doesn't matter.

Why? He isn't a threat to the general population. Only way they'd segregate him is if he were suicidal (which he may be)

Last I heard he was on suicide watch. But that could've just been a rumor.

Sexual offenders are all put together because general population is a threat to them.

The story I found on WHIO news was from yesterday. Did the OC already have this topic on his book and I missed it?

from watching shows like Locked Up, they've said they keep snitches and molesters separate from general population. Also seen some places that keeps known gays together, i assume that ward is an orgy.

I apologize I misread the story. Didn't realize "touched" was his first book and is now working on a 2nd.

Hopefully his family will not be able to profit off of this new book. Because if they do anyone that buys it is a dumbass. But yeah, either way, I don't want to know what was going on inside of this guy's head. It makes me cringe just thinking about it.

I was going through some old football preview magazines the other day, and in the 2003 Athlon Sports Big Ten Magazine, they had a little section called Xtra Points. In this section they had different subjects with different headings. Under the, "And you were thinking....WHAT?" There is a cartoon picture of Graham Spainer slapping Joe Paterno on the wrist, with an article that says....

Anwar Phillips, a redshirt freshman DB from Penn State was kicked out of school on Dec. 12th for two semesters after being charged with sexual assault. Technically, the suspension DID NOT take effect until Jan. 13th, the first day of spring semester. So technically, Phillips was eligible to play in the Capital One Bowl on Jan. 1st, which he did. But ethically, was it the right thing to do?

According to AD Tim Curley, just because Phillips had been expelled from school was not enough reason to remove him from the football team.

HUH?

Penn State President Graham Spanier disagreed. Dr. Spanier seemed to have this silly notion that guys who have been kicked out of school on charges of sexual assault, probably aren't the best people to represent Penn State.

"My own view is that students should not be allowed to participate in university activities in such circumstances", he said. The sound you just heard was that of Curley and Paterno getting their wrists slapped.

Just thought it was kind of Ironic.
