Being discussed that sanctions could be on par with what PSU received and should come this week....

Like the article says, maybe a Notice of Allegations comes out but no sanctions until this regular season is over.

Did I miss an article? Keep the "insider" info on the premium board. Wake me up when something does happen. Not that I don't want Oregon to go down for Willie Lyles etc, but the same rumors have been around for more than a year. Some troll just pushes it to the forefront every now and then and everyone gets excited.

Not from a troll... Just they are expecting from reliable sources but we'll see, it's premium so I didn't give any details if it does pan out.

Exactly.

You could post this thread about 95% of FBS teams. Until something actually happens, I'm done listening to these rumors.

Oregon hasn't even been served a notice of infractions. So no penalties can even be levied until they respond. At that time they have 30 or 60 days to respond. No sanctions unless they are self imposed are even close.

It's Rich Cirminiello saying that he has a legit source, also stating specifically that it is NOT from a forum.

Good info here http://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/y8c2o/rich_cirminiello_rumors_beginning_to_circulate/

I just can't see the NCAA coming down on Phil Knight. Nike means an awful lot to the NCAA.

If it involves the NCAA you can count on it being inconsistent and over the top....or both.

I'm sure that if there are penalties to be applied there will be plenty of room for mitigation.
