I've been out of the loop on the Browns. What is up? Injuries?

Aug 13, 2012 - According to Dawgs By Nature, fifteen players missed practice for the Cleveland Browns yesterday. The most notable absence is that of rookie running back Trent Richardson, who will likely miss all of training camp as he rehabs from left knee surgery.

Thanks for the link!

Man, oh man. It's tough to be a Cleveland fan.

On the bright side, did you see that stuff Chris Perez was throwing last night? I haven't seen such a filthy slider since Mike Jackson was the closer.

One thing you will never be able to accuse me of is being a fair weather fan.

Yeah...let's talk Browns....wake me up when they win 6 games.

At their current pace, that'll be in late September 2013.

Six wins is my hope for the Brownies this year. Just show me improvement and a desire to move to the next level.

Of course, we haven't seen this since they returned to the league. Perhaps it's a pipe dream, but I can't give up on the only pro football team I have ever rooted for.

Same with the Tribe.

Negged for watching tribe baseball at 2 in the morning...on a week night. Try Ambien.

I have no doubt the tribe will start playing respectable ball now that they are out of it.

That totally fits with the pattern. They fall out of it, play better when the pressure is off, and then the front office uses that as a justification for why the season wasn't that bad and how it will act as a spring board heading into the next season.

We have seen this song and dance more than a few times under the Shapiro/Dolan regime.

Carmona/Hernandez going tonight. Will probably be like watching Ubaldo on back to back nights.

Rick Manning: "I'm embarrassed, it's a circus out there right now. It looks like a little league inning"

Tribe defense playing like crap tonight. The only thing worth watching is to see how many times Underwood and Manning slip up and say "Carmona".

I've been watching a lot of SF Giants broadcasts lately and really wonder why we don't have good announcers on TV like they do. Kuiper is outstanding and now they have been bringing Jon Miller into the booth as well.

Manning spent two years auditioning/sucking ass to get Wedge's job. I think that he's actually gotten better in booth now that he's probably realized what most already know....he's not going to manage the Tribe.

Not much to say about Underwood, but he's better than the two that cover the Pirates.

5-0 LAA, bottom 3.
