As of this past Thursday I am wearing glasses. Must wear them to drive as well, hence why I went to the eye docter to pass the eye test LOL. Getting old sucks!

Why not both? I wear contacts to work and out with friends. I wear glasses at home or short errands.

I'm poor and glasses are for poor people so I represent. Actually before insurance picked up it's share my glasses were over $800.00 dollars. I could never wear contacts. I have a hard enough time just putting drops in my eyes. Yep I'm a wuss.

My vision went from 20/15 to 20/25 so I could get by driving without them, but usually wear the polarized Rx sunglasses. I never wear glasses around the house. Contacts for officiating or golf.

Have never had a cavity and still perfect eye sight.

Especially helps when you treat your body like a temple while it's still growing.

Sorry, but only a dbag would buy "gold plated" prescription glasses.

As for me, I'm perfect, or better than perfect. 20/15 vision.

I am 46 and have pretty good vision still. (Take that Mom and Father Colletti). I do need to wear glasses while driving after dark and from time to time wear a pair of reading glasses when the lights are low.

Two years ago I realized I couldn't see and had to get glasses. Don't have contacts, putting shit in my eyes kind of freaks me out.

When I went to get my license renewed at 21 I was told that I needed to get glasses because I barely passed the eye test. Just got them a month ago. Im now 24. Pretty much got them because I need to get my license renewed again in Jan and probably would fail this time. Pretty much just wear them while driving.

Contacts for now, LASIK in the future. Without my contacts or glasses I can't even make out 5 fingers on my hand.

I wear glasses about a quarter of the time. I only really need them for reading or spotting owls in the middle of the night, but if there are days where I have a bad headache (kinda prone to those), they just make staring in front of a computer at work for eight or nine hours much more bearable. So I usually will wear them the entire day on those occasions. I don't even notice them anymore. I've had them since college.

If you are like me and have an aversion to sticking things into your eye, then go with a classic pair of spectacles.

Got glasses in 5th grade

Got contacts in 9th grade

Without either of them on, I can't see at all past arms length away. I pretty much wear my contacts all the time. I'll take a break from them every once in awhile and wear the glasses.
