No one cares about your records because in general no one cares about Women's Basketball.

It's just not entertaining to watch to the majority of people. People prefer a bunch of other Women's Olympic sports than Women's Basketball. People LOVE women's soccer and gymnastics. People enjoy watching Women's Volleyball (indoor and beach), track, swimming.

People just don't care for Women's basketball.

I agree, but only during the olympics. Any other time, if the only two things on are women's soccer and women's basketball, I'm probably picking BBall.

Maybe if they had some competition?
Why should I care if they beat everyone by 20-40?

Maybe if they had some close games, and shock, lost, then maybe we will care.

I'd say The reason why U.S. women soccer is popular is the games are close, and exciting for the most part.

There's a difference between no one liking them and no one giving a shit about them.

This is the latter, because women's basketball is boring as fuck, and it's worse in the Olympics because the other countries make the WNBA look like the greatest thing ever.

I will take woman's international soccer over bball any day of the week. I don't watch eiether woman's sport other wise, pro, college, club, etc.......Woman's bball just never appealed to me, looks like a bunch of unathletic chicks chucking balls up at the rim. The girls that are big in the paint are clumsy and ugly for the most part, there isn't a reason to watch. At least soccer is filled with hot chicks!

not much point in watching when you already know the outcome. They don't even have the athleticism to make the game exciting to watch, so what's the point?

Some of the soccer players are nice to look at. The women's basketball team might be the ugliest collection of women I have ever seen. Considering I am a Massillon season ticket holder, that is quite a statement.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. How did we let this thread continue without acknowledging this milestone? Fab actually found a group of women who he doesn't find attractive.

I would start watching it if they changed their uniforms, something along the lines of the ones that womens beach volleyball wear. They would also have to start drafting women a little more for their looks and not their basketball skills.

women's basketball is the worst. i'd rather watch a marathon of equestrian or synchronized swimming over it. just terrible entertainment value

I have never found a more boring sport than women's basketball, at any level. And that INCLUDES soccer where they kick the ball around for 2 hours and score twice.

LoL. In the article they're quoted as saying they're being "taken for granted". That is full of themselves. Nobody takes them for granted. Taking something for granted is coming home to my house after school when I was a kid and never thanking my parents for taking care of me. I needed my parents but never really appreciated them. This basketball team is not needed, and definitely doesn't have to be appreciated, especially by 95% of the population that doesn't care if the sport exists at all.

In high school our girls team made it to the D3 District Finals and it was a battle against our rivals who were 22-0 and us who were 20-2 with both losses coming to them. Anyways I went to the game and let me tell you it was horrible. Here are 2 top 10 teams in the state and they can't dribble with their head up, have to jumpstop on layups for christs sake and look retarded basically bringing the ball down to the floor to hit a shot. I mean if I played I'd average 30 points and 30 rebounds a game at least being by far the fastest, strongest and tallest on the court. It really lessens the sport
