He just announced that he will be running for mayor. He's a huge Reds fan and has been in Cincy for the entire weekend series celebrating his Dad's 70th birthday. He also matched the $50,000 raised by Marty Brennaman for shaving his head for the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund.

I watched it again....he seriously loves Cincinnati....but can't tell if he's serious.

Believe it or not he did about a 4 min interview from his luxury box during one of the innings and he was holding a can of Sprite.

During the interview he slammed L.A.

Said Cincy was a real city, not like LA where everyone is to their own....Cincy is full of good people, beautiful women and he could spend a lot of time there.

Why is he such a huge Reds fan anyway? I took a quick glance at his wiki(lolz) and found no Cinci or even Ohio connections.

Sheen was born in 1965, so my guess is he was your typical bandwagon-kid during the time of the Big Red Machine and became a lifelong fan.

His Dad was born near Dayton. Charlie's uncle got him interested in the Reds and took him to many games at Riverfront.

Conrad Estevez, Martin Sheen's brother was from the area.

This could be the big break the OC and Justin have been waiting for, think about it......

1. The OC is owned by a die hard Cincy fan and it is based out of his basement, in Cincy.
2. This site can offer unlimited advertising space for his campaign, at a reasonable price of course.
3. There are plenty of pictures of hookers, big breast and porn stars.
4. There is unlimited use of foul language.
5. The best part is, if he becomes a member we can get rid of the mods and let Charlie be in charge of moderating the content of the site.

Justin needs to contact Charlie and offer the services of the OC for his campaign.

Naaaah - they'd make him park 'em over in Newport. Hamilton County would NEVER stand for such moral outrages! Apparently, crossing the bridge back into Ohio cleanses one of sin. :)

Martin Sheen is from Dayton. He went to Chaminade High School (now Chaminade-Julienne). Martin still regularly returns to Dayton and contibutes signicant $$$ to the Arts community in Dayton. Martin moved around a lot when Charlie grew up, taking different acting gigs and filming on location. Charlie spent various parts of his childhood in Dayton. Charlie went to Chaminde-Julienne for his senior year after getting kicked out of his high school in California for poor attendance/behavior issues. Charlie has always been a big baseball fan. He was a very good pitcher/shortstop in high school (played in California, but never played at CJ).

Incidentally, back in 1990 Charlie threw a huge party for the Reds after they won the World Series. Allegedly he bought hookers and a bunch of coke for all the players on the team.
