With OSU and PSU out of their division that leaves Illinois, Indiana and Purdue on Wisconsin's side... so they are a shoe in.

That leaves Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern and Minnesota trying to join them.

Another point to consider, will there even be a Championship game? I'm not sure on the rules, but I believe there is a number requirement for a league to have a championship game, and with 2 teams ineligible does that effect the number or not?

You need to have 12 teams for a championship game, and ineligible teams still count as one of the 12 (see: Pac 12 2011). There will still be a B1G championship.

There are still 12 teams in the conference (the number you need), so they should be fine. Pac 12 had USC ineligible and still contested theirs last year.

Thanks for the answer, I just wasn't sure how that would work out. I figured they'd keep the game (initial poll), but then that thought hit me and I wasn't sure what would happen.

Yeah. USC actually won their half, which is why 6-6 UCLA got to go get blasted by Oregon, and play in a bowl as a sub .500 team

Danny Obrien will throw more INT's than Chad Henne and Illinois will be there instead of bucky.

Just got an ESPN notification saying that Michigan RB Fitzgerald Toussaint suspended indefinitely after DUI arrest. I'll stick with them as my pick though as I think they'll reinstate him.
