It was amazing that Penn State was able to get a class this solid after the Sandusky scandal. Now that there is a threat the NCAA might get involved some are starting to change their minds.

4* CB Ross Douglas (Avon, OH) was rumored to be on the Nebraska campus exploring his options.

4* DL Greg Webb (Sicklerville, NJ) opened up his commitment and just committed to UNC.

I imagine the flood gates open if the NCAA comes crashing down.

Probably only the beginning of a mass exodus

If PSU were somehow to overcome the foreseeable defections and recruitment losses and win six games, I don't think bowl games will -- or at least shouldn't -- punish the new regime in charge of the program. PSU has a huge national following that travels well and will still be a big draw ratings-wise just for the story of it all. That's just my guess.

Something tells me that PSU won't be bowl eligible, though, when the NCAA gets done sticking its head in the situation.

I was reading on their 247 board that they expect to announce to the NCAA a 2-3 year bowl ban and hope the NCAA only adds something small to that.

If and when the NCAA metes out their punishment, I wonder if they'll will allow PSU players to transfer without sitting out a year?
