We have ensured the Muslim Brotherhood has control over the Middle East...why is it so far fetched to believe one of them is in a position of influence in OUR government?

I missed the memo where they had control over the Middle East. Care to name where? If you say Egypt, the SCAF is still in control.

This is such an idiotic statement by Bachman and the other worthless Congressman that made such baseless accusations. These are the types of attacks that need to stop, have no analytical basis and distract from the important issues.
I knew Bachman was an idiot, now this just solidifies it. What a waste of a Congress seat.

Bachmann is a prime example of the lunatic fringe which is attempting to control the Republican Party these days. McCain showed he's got real balls by standing up to her and her allies. Too bad her boss in the House couldn't be more emphatic, but he has a history of letting the crazies run the asylum.

The Muslims will take over our government and soon. Cue the Qur'an. We need a good ole fashioned global, religious war to get our minds off the economy.

This is a perfect example of why women need to keep their ass in the kitchen.

Because the Freemasons and the Illuminati wouldn't let that happen.

being alert to the threat of Islamic terrorism is a worthy effort as was awareness of the threat of communism was during the Cold War. but clowns like mccarthy in the 50s and bachmann undermine positive efforts and goals.

yeh it will, if next time someone identifies a major hasan as a potential terrorist before he commits his slaughter. his defenders can claim it is just a bachmann like accusation. the signs were there on him for suspicion.

That can happen and probably will even if Bachman has said nothing. The fact that these comments are viewed as some sort of lightening rod that will alter things is certainly entertaining though.

...that will have little to no impact on the masses and how they respond to someone who may or may not be suspicious.
