Why is the ability to ban Sleeper to the basement not available? It shows up for everyone except Sleeper.
My conspiracy guess is that Sleeper actually donates money to the site, so Justin gives him immunity.

I have no idea why he isn't able to be basement banned. Seriously. There is nothing different from his account than anyone else. Also, thread bans work on him.

I figured out what the issue was. He had a backlog of infractions from when I reset all the numbers and he was marked with 9 already. According to the auto-ban system I guess it just assumed he was permabanned or something. I cleared out his total back to 1 just to get everything reset. I fear moving him to the basement two days after the fact will cause faux outrage so just watch for him to break another rule (today, probably) and infract accordingly. I did a double check and the autoban form is there now.

You should just reset sleeper's post count and reps. He would have an epic meltdown and probably off himself. He is super proud that he posts so much, even though 90% of his posts are whining about mods.

Log into it at least once from a proxy server, that way when he asks us to ban the alter ego we can post that IP and show no match
