I'm not sure if I've posted pics before, but I thought I would share.

1974, 22' Shasta, 454 motor.

This fucker is ready to go! I'm home for the week and seeing this beast for the first time since Xmas. My parents have been doing some major work regarding cleaning and getting everything functional. Major props to them on the inside. It's fucking SPOTLESS. I was impressed.

We paid $1200 and as of now have about 5k in it. It's totally functional, everything works. Runs like a champ, AC, stove, hot water, shitter, everything. Fucking awesome. The only thing that doesn't is the built in generator, but we have one anyway that we can strap to the back.

Mind you, this thing sat for about 10 years before we got our hands on it and was not winterized at all.

List of things thats my dad had done so far.

Tires
Hot water tank
Replaced all water lines
Engine tune up, fluids flushed
Minor exhaust work
AC recharged
Rear basket thing
Resealed roof
New bathroom ceiling and shower head

It's maiden voyage is in two weeks.

Nice RV. I've always wanted to take an old beast like that and "modernize" the interior.

All you need now is to add a "gas, grass, or ass...nobody rides for free" bumpersticker and you will be all set.

Now you need some Erlenmeyer flasks and round bottom boiling flasks plus a barrel of Methylamine and you've got yourself a nice lab.

Now you just need a legit chemist who underachieved during his life to become a HS chemistry teacher and is suffering from a life threatening illness.

Hmm, I like how you guys think. This would be a great plot for a tv show.

Let's get that guy from Malcom in the Middle to be the teacher. I think he's got potential.

He would need to have a relative in the DEA to push the plot. And drama with his wife. Lots of drama.
