It's the most asinine saying I may have ever seen. Every time I see it I chuckle because of it's stupidity. It's like something Ward Cleaver or Eddie Haskell would say.

That saying just screams both ignorance/simpleton and old-fashionedness, which tends to fit quite well with much of what Isadore has to say.
