If you go to "adminstrative-->edit thread", you can do it that way.

That's good to know. I thought you were supposed to hold down on the mouse button over the thread title, but sometimes that didn't work. Actually most of the time, it didn't work. Made it all the more confusing when it would work.

If you move your mouse just to the right of the title (hence not hovering over the linked part) and double-click, it will let you edit.

Yeah that's what I do. It works fine in pro sports and college basketball but when I do it here, all I get is a spinning circle.
