Looking back on your life, what's your happiest day or moment?
For me, I think my happiest was this past weekend. Our son, Caleb, is not quite 2 years old, but he is obsessed with bikes (he sees kids riding around the neighborhood and wants one of his own). So on Sunday we decided to run to Target and pick up a little trike for him. If you haven't been around a 22-month-old before, you realize they don't have much of an attention span. But he was ridiculously excited and entirely focused on the idea of a bike--the whole way to Target and back he kept saying, "Bike bike bike bike, me bike, ride bike, bike bike, bike home" etc. He then helped me put it all together, hammering away, using the screwdriver, doing whatever he could so I could assemble it quickly for him to ride. He can't even really reach the pedals, so he scoots around. But still, there's something very touching to see a little kid so unabashedly excited about something, knowing that it's within my power to make him so happy. Being a parent has rewards that I haven't seen or felt elsewhere in life.
What about you? What's your happiest day/moment?

So far, probably getting married. I am sure that will change once we have kids.

I don't think I could single out a single event, but my happiest moments seem to be centered around my kids...their births, their sports and academic accomplishments. I would add probably one event that I had nothing to do with, and that being the Cleveland Indians World Series appearance in 1995. Long suffering Tribe fan here since back in the 60's.
edit...the Buckeyes winning the National Championship too.

Happiest was when I was traveling for a year. When I got home there was a surprise party for me with all my family friends and my dog. It was a moment I wish would last forever. To share all that I have done with friends and family was great.

I'm not going to lie, the Reds winning the World Series would trump getting married.

I was a 4th grader, and I will never forget "Wire to Wire."

I barely remember it. I was only 7. My baseball memories really start with 1991 season.

You should find the VHS called Wire to Wire if you don't already own it.

Probably the day I got the call with a job offer in NYC. I was previously living with parents and hating life. I moved here with no job, no solid leads, and found someone willing to let me sign a lease. Needless to say....I was freaking the f*ck out before I got the gig.
