Heard the new Offspring song (LISTEN AT YOUR OWN RISK) and thought to myself, holy shit, these guys have gone to hell in a handbasket since Smash. I mean, this passes as their music now?

What other bands do you think have gone to shit (either recently or historically)?

I have never thought of the Offspring as more than a one studio album band.

Not even going to listen but yeah Offspring hell HARD. Metallica comes to mind, as well as Staind (another band that instantly came to thought.) First album was great, everything since was shit. Fuck, so many to name.

After sitting through their awful bonnaroo performance it has to be the beach boys. They needed to stop touring 20 years ago.

I made it through 54 seconds of that video before I had to stop it. Yikes.

Metallica is always the first band to come to mind in this category but there are plenty.

Never liked Offspring, they are only slightly better than Nickelback.

I read this, then scrolled up to see how far I made it. 56 seconds. I guess I have a slightly higher threshold of pain.

It's harder to find a band that stayed together and did not have a member die than to make an easy list like this.

SP has a new album coming out. I was streaming it for free on iTunes today and I didn't hate it.

Really liked the Smashing Pumpkins but they kind of lost it after Mellon Collie. I will check out the new stuff though.
