No one wants to see an asshole like LeBron win a title. His sense of entitlement is ridiculous.

That's because the calls the Heat get are BS most of the time. Wade had 2 that were complete horseshit. He basically drives into the lane and gets 2 everytime, regardless of whether he's touched or not.

Durant does the same and gets nothing.

People on here are just looking for any reason to nitpick the officiating for the calls the Heat get. The ft's were 35 to 24 last night, take away the 6 on the stupid fouls on the back to back 3 point attempts and it's 29 to 24, which is plausible because Miami is an attack team and OKC is a jump shooting team.
I get what you're saying but you have to expect some of this on an Ohio sports forum. Most people on this site want to see the Heat lose.

Fans complain about refs, that's how it goes. I think it might be different for you because you're a casual fan in this series and the majority are pulling for the Thunder. I've been to and watched sporting events as a casual fan, I know that fans can be unreasonable but that's just how it works. I dont understand why people are surprised by this

Yes it is an Ohio based forum....but to have 72 posts complaining about the officiating out of less than 200 posts....not sure there was one post about the Heat getting any marginal calls.

Steelers get all the calls.
Heat get all the calls.
Duke gets all the calls.

Who else? Kobe?

They had Stern on last night talking about rigging the lottery. I'm almost convinced they rig it.

Yes. All of the above.

You can't sit there and say the Heat aren't getting the same calls that the Thunder aren't getting. There are blatant NON judgment calls that go against the Thunder.

It has NOTHING to do with this being an Ohio board. It has everything to do with the HORRIBLE officiating in the NBA.

Did the Thunder make mistakes? Absolutely. Did the officiating benefit the Heat? Absolutely. It has ALL postseason.

Case and point, Miami drives the lane and OKC shoots jump shots. If we were to nitpick the other way there were many calls that were bogus against Miami as well, people on here just hate the Heat and want to see them lose so they see things through tinted glasses. Durant had a clear goal tend on a put back dunk in the 3rd quarter last night and there wasn't one word said on here about it.

Because on this board you get a QQ for anything the majority disagrees with. This is also the board where anything outside your region is bandwagon.....yet these are huge examples of both.

"we aren't rooting for OKC....we are rooting against the Heat" I'd love to see their reaction on every big shot the Thunder hit....slice it however you want but they are rooting for OKC, which is perfectly fine but extremely hypocritical.

I agree NBA officiating is the worst. I believe you may be on that board.....but several others are just blatantly bitching because they feel the Heat are getting all the calls.

In all IMO the Heat have gotten more calls. I think OKC gets away with more around the perimeter but Miami gets away with more in general and underneath. But Wade (who gets more borderline calls than any player I can ever remember), LeBron and even worthless Chalmers are driving to the basket far more than OKC. Harden seems to get fouls called on the defense with his unique style. Durant drives but is so damn good outside he doesn't drive that much and Westbrook is the quickest man alive.....but even when he drives he shoots wide open 6 footers....because he has got himself wide-open with his quickness.

Umpires and referees piss me off as much as anyone....and at all levels. The basketball guys anticipate too much and let's you get smoked outside but the big guys barely contact and it's a foul. Football, Christ ignoring holdings and then calling interferences on nothing. There are plays in basketball that don't get called that are 15 yard personal fouls in football....with a helmet. Baseball is pretty good but the home-plate guy controls the world and like to be seen.

I guess everyone is free to gripe all they want about any game they want. I could easily ruin every Reds thread due to the umpires.....but I accept the umps suck on occasion and sometimes due play a role in the outcome....but 72 posts one way and 0 posts the other? It's not only the officiating that is bad.

You dont nitpick? How many times did you complain about KG and his illegal screens last series? I dont hear you comment when Bosh or Haslem do they same thing.

C'mon man, you do the same thing. Only difference is that its easier for you since you're pulling the Heat and they get the majority of the calls

I haven't said one word about the officiating this series, I'm trying to enjoy the games for what they are. NBA officials are going to miss calls, it's human nature. KG does set illegal screens basically every time down, everyone knows that. Miami gets calls because they attack, while OKC shoots jump shots. Miami also has guys who have better reps than OKC has, meaning they have been in the league longer and have been through the battles. If you don't like it as a fan of the game then don't watch it, but don't cry all game long like a bunch of females about something that you can't change.

Just because you havent said a word about the refs this series doesnt mean that you havent in the past. Complaing about illegal screens is nitpicking.

Again, the complaing about the refs has ALWAYS happened. Have you ever been to a football game and sat next to or near the guy that complains about all the holding penalties that the refs are "missing". Or fans at baseball games that complain about balls and strikes. Same thing happens in the NBA, it's a part of sports. I know it gets annoying but it isnt changing

That is my biggest issue with the officiating. Wade has to have naughty photos of stern. I have seen people bitching about the fifth foul on Durant....that is bullshit, def a block on him. I think they missed an important one were Lebron through it off the back of the board.

I am more tired of watching wade and harden flop all the time. It is a shitty product that I try to watch, but I can't get into it.....no flow. So I watch reruns of hitch and just flip back and forth.lol

What I find most hilarious is the "fix is in" comments.

Like this isn't a dream finals for the NBA big wigs anyway. How will they benefit anymore if Miami wins? The NBA and Stern can't lose with this matchup.

Complaining every once in a while is understandable, but literally almost every post last night contained some form of crying about the officiating, that is what I was saying. We should make a separate thread for people who want to only whine about the officiating. If you can't post one thing about the game without it pertaining to the officiating then you shouldn't post, that's sad.

Ok well those 2 calls aren't the reason why the Thunder lost. They lost because they missed their jumpshots.
