Prayers to your friend, Justin. My wife's best friend and Godmother to my daughter was diagnosed with cancer yesterday; 35 yrs old. It's terribly sad to hear news like this about those close to you.

I hope your friend and SVF's wife's friend have the best of medical teams working hard to help them and that your buddy recovers fully so you can deliver him a fierce beating.

Well I'll go out there on that limb and will pray for them all. I'm not a super religious person any more, but I do pray at times. If only to make myself feel better at times and maybe others.
Sorry I was raised in a church and old habits die hard.
/cue the Sleeper weak minded comment.

I'll pray for the wifes best frieng diagnosed with cancer. Not that it will necessarily help but it's the polite thing to do.
As for the dumb ass on the motorcycle w.o a helmet.....he's lucky not to be dead or in a coma.
No prayers for the stupid.

I'm not praying for the dumb ass w.o a helmet but do hope Justin gets to kick his ass for being stupid. Meaning if Justin gets to "kick his ass" the friend must have recovered.
I hope the dude recovers.
btw- I was in a coma for about a week from an accident while not wearing a helmet. I was 20 or 21 then, a dumb college kid.
It was only a mountain bike and I ended up in a coma. Anyone stupid enough to ride a motorcycle without wearing a helmet gets what they deserve when they wreck.
"smh" at anyone stupid enough to ride a motorcycle w.o wearing a helmet.
(edit) Apologies to kinda troll this thread. It's just whenever the news is somebody on a motorcycle wrecked and is in severe condition, I smh when they were not wearing a helmet.
Dumbest laws ever= ya can't drive a car w.o wearing a seat belt but motorcyclists can ride w.o helmets.
I hope the dude recovers.

Fair enough. I'll stfu and mind my business elsewhere.
Didn't I remember seeing a thread on ways to get more "life" around here?

Correct. And being an a'hole isn't the way to do it.

Geez guys, depress me first thing in the morning. I'm with Curly's post 100% and in the same boat...I'll say a prayer for both.

I'm not going to say its wrong to think the way you do about the helmet. But obviously someone is distraught if they're posting this asking for prayers (when we know they don't necessarily believe in God). So you just have to be respectful.said_aouita;1193804 wrote:Fair enough. I'll stfu and mind my business elsewhere.

And just because someone gets seriously injured because of their own self negligence, doesn't mean they don't deserve the same good vibes/prayers as someone hurting because of something they can't control. We all make bonehead mistakes...most of us get the opportunity to change our lifestyle because of them. At least pray that this man gets the chance to learn from it and ride with a helmet next time.
Respect, there is a time to show it. This is the time, dude...

You'd think this would be easy enough. Apparently not.SnotBubbles;1193816 wrote:I'm not going to say its wrong to think the way you do about the helmet.
