The Indians roll into St Louis hoping that their league worst starting pitching staff somehow finds itself. Injuries have plagued the tribe, but not as it relates to the pitchers. Simply put, they stink.
Only everyday players Cabrera, Choo, Kipnis, Hannahan, and Brantley have earned their keep. Of course the bullpen has been stellar as well.
Time to dump Duncan and let LaPorta take his shot in left. And Santana needs to elevate his offensive numbers.
Tonight Tomlin takes to the mound with his assortment of nothing, His ERA hovers far above the Ubaldo line. Facing the tribe is ole buddy Jake the Snake, a guy who lost about 79 playoff games for the tribe during his career.
Any sighting of either McAllister or David Huff?

Carlos Beltran will get a chance this weekend to see if he made the right choice when he signed with the Cards.
Grady Sizemore will not make an early return....his rehab was curtailed due to 'soreness'. Probably All Star break at the earliest.

Even though laley was supposed to start this thread, I still like to read Footwedge comments. Besides agreeing with most of it, I think we should keep Duncan as a bench player. He is valuable as a team guy.

Enjoyed the short thread started by my good old pal, Footwedge. Too bad his insightful comments couldn't be included here.
But.....it's all cool and Go Tribe!

Tribe up 4-0 now.
Santana, Kipnis, Kotchman, Brantley all with RBI's.
