HBO Series

So on Comcast on demand, HBO now has pretty much every episode of most of their series available for watching (just when I was about to cancel cable...)
I'm slowly making my way through a few of the shows, but am curious which other ones are worth watching (and what season the show goes downhill if it does)

Currently Watching- Game of Thrones (incredible show), Veep, True Blood (Fiance's selection, mostly through season one, not too bad so far) & Big Love (Fiance's selection). I've already seen The Wire, and plan to rewatch again from Season One, and am planning to restart Sopranos (only made it through Season One originally).

Are any of these series Must Sees?
Boardwalk Empire
Treme
Deadwood
Band of Brothers
The Pacific
John Adams
Rome
Enlightened
Six Feet Under
Oz

I doubt we get to many of these, as we only watch about an hour of TV a night, but would like to at least be able to know which ones to try to get to...

Rome
Deadwood
Boardwalk Empire

Those are 3 really good ones, in that order for me. Have not seen the rest, but Six Feet Under is highly acclaimed.

"Hung" was pretty good, as well.

And, DUHHHH!, "Curb Your Enthusiasm". Especially if you liked Seinfeld.

Boardwalk Empire is good, one of the few shows I watch on a regular basis. I would say watch that or re-watch The Wire, best show ever made. I'm watching it for the second time now; halfway through season 4.

I've seen Boardwalk Empire, Deadwood, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Six Feet Under, and Oz. I would watch them again. Deadwood was only 2 seasons I believe. I love On Demand.

Rome is basically Game of Thrones without the magic.

Oz is one of my favorite shows ever. Others don't like it, but I thought it was amazing.

The magic is one of my least favorite aspects of Game of Thrones, so I definitely want to see Rome now..

Also, I forgot to have Curb Your Enthusiasm on the list, I've seen a lot of episodes of that and think it's hilarious. My fiance hates it though, she didn't like Seinfeld either, for some reason she doesn't get the humor, which is either due to her age or being an Oregonian (they do not get sarcasm here)...

Sopranos and Entourage were the only HBO series I ever watched, and I loved them both.

Pacific and Band of Brothers are MUST WATCH. Both awesome, and only 13 episode miniseries.

The actual "shows" I would rank in this order (not counting those youve seen):

1. Game of Thrones
2. Boardwalk Empire
3. Entourage
4. TrueBlood
5. Deadwood (havent seen it yet, heard its amazing)
6. Rome
7. Curb (but you dont have to watch it episode by episode)

My wife likes a lot, we started watching it together and I thought the first season was decent. I will tell you it starts getting weird in the second season, but I managed to watch it. Third season I gave up.

I really don't understand not having HBO. I'll GLADLY pay the extra 20 a month or wahtever it is to get all the great shows they produce.

I mean just look at the list, INCREDIBLE shows every 3 months, no matter what.

Game of Thrones is on, when it's off Trueblood is back on, then Boardwalk, etc.

Cyclical masterpiece.

Deadwood is amazing. Oz is great.

Six Feet Under was solid, but very slow moving at times. I'll be getting HBO and Showtime in about a week. Looking forward to catching up on Game of Thrones and Dexter.
