It's on PFT, ESPN and a few other places now. For a guy who has really turned his life around and has been a model citizen for 2 years, this is just unfortunate. Hopefully things are as serious as it sounds.

Sadly, his own bad judgment caused this, according to the reports. I hope he survives it.

The story above states he was fighting with his fiance and she took off in a truck which he jumped in the back of then fell out along the way.

All the sources that are saying he's dead are citing the dallas morning news... why would the dallas morning news be the first to break this story? They jumped the gun.

Pretty effed up that someone made a fake Twitter account acting as the Dallas Daily News just to say Chris Henry had died.
Despite not being dead, I've heard he's on life support and the situation is very 'dire'.
Prayers.

Why would a guy with a broken arm jump into the back of a moving truck? Man I hope he is okay, but wow. It is normal for guys on the IR to be several states a way during season?

Yeah, athletes usually find themselves at home when on IR or on the DL. Sean Taylor was shot while at home during his stint on the inactive list.jordo212000 wrote: Why would a guy with a broken arm jump into the back of a moving truck? Man I hope he is okay, but wow. As mentioned, "life threatening injuries". Here's to getting through the next few hours and days, and a quick recovery.

I really hope he's OK....the guy truly needs football.
I remember when Derrick Thomas was in a bad car wreck and in this situation.....but everyone kept saying how he was a top notch athlete and it will help him pull through and then he died very soon thereafter.....horrible memory, one of my favorite players...and one of the best.
Prayers for Chris Henry

I totally forgot Derrick Thomas even died. Wow.
Hard to believe it's been more than 2 years since Sean Taylor died too isn't it? One of the best players of my lifetime--a shame he didn't get to build his legacy further.

Biodome10 is the one spewing all the crap about Chris Henry being dead. And he's claiming Adam Schefter (ESPN) is the one who confirmed the Chris Henry passing. Obviously that wasn't true and Schefter is pissed!
