Many chains had gone completely nonsmoking before the ban, because they wanted something other than white trash to come to their establishments. Plus the nonsmoking trend (like most all trends) started nationally WAY before Ohio came on board.

It's clearly a racist comment. Duh. Black smokers everywhere are offended.
But seriously....for as non-racist, non-sexist, non-homophobic, and non whatever else you want to label me I am, I automatically assume someone is trashy because they smoke. I may really like the person, but that's one thing I just can't get past.
