Prime Shaq, or Prime Kobe?

I'd rather have a prime Shaq because I feel volume shooting players like Kobe are easily replaceable, whereas a dominant center is harder to come by. I feel in about 100 years the top 10 players of all time will be centers(with the exception of Jordan and Lebron), and Kobe will be just another player.

Thoughts?

I dont think that Kobe will just be another player when history looks back on him....

Shaq.....extremely dominant force inside and a good passer.

Kobe can create more offense whereas shaq had to have someone feed him underneath......or get a RB...although while underneath he didnt miss alot.

Tough one...Since I like shaq better maybe id say him.........because it does seem like talented guards who can score are easier to come by than a dominant big man.

He did lead the magic to the finals, won it with LA and Miami...

Since sleeper posted this question I won't take it seriously when he says Kobe is replaceable but it's definitely a tough question.

I don't agree with the things you said about Kobe. But this answer is easy--Shaq without a doubt.

I have always heard GM's say when given the choice you always take the dominant big man.

Kobe is a great player but Shaq changed the game. There was absolutely no single player who could contain him.
