Arroyo vs Hanson
Hanson has been hot lately. Arroyo has pitched well too. Lineups should be posted within the next half hour.

Reds need to take 1 of the next 2. Match-ups are about even for both games, pitching-wise.

The Braves have a great offense, or at least one of the best in the NL, but without McCann able to go and Chipper banged up, it's definitely winnable.

Damn, it was fun while it lasted....having McCann out of the lineup. He always mashes the Reds.

Also, Hinske is in the lineup, but he replaces Heyward in right instead of bumping Prado to 3rd and sitting Francisco. fack.

eh, I'm fine with Hinske starting, just don't get Heyward sitting. Hinske has hit Arroyo well in the past, 14/36 for a .424 average. I also think he is less of a liability in LF than Francisco is at 3rd.

I think Heyward is something like 1 for 7 against Arroyo, maybe that's it? I don't know.

e: Upon reading that it sounded sarcastic, but I am not being sarcastic.

Heyward could be 0 for 20 against Arroyo.

Arroyo is still a home-run allowing machine and the game is at GABP. It's just dumb to sit Heyward...

Votto makes a big play to help Arroyo put a zero on the board in the first! After he was upset about not getting to Prado's foul fly, Prado hits it off the wall with one out. Then Hanigan makes a bad play on a WP to put Prado on 3rd with one out and the Braves thought they'd get a run on a ground ball, but Joey had other ideas once he flagged it down, and guns him down at home again throwing off the wrong foot. In this case the throw off the wrong foot saved time and the throw was true to get Prado by plenty.

Reds get a gift runner on 2B to lead off the 1st, but Heisey has the biggest failure of the inning in striking out and not advancing the runner, which made it half to take a base hit to score Cozart, but neither Votto nor Bruce could pick up Heisey! Strange that Hanson pitched around the righty(BP) and got the lefties out.

Now we see why Arroyo pitched Uggla so carefully his first time up, but this time leading off, he didn't pitch around him. He didn't bite on the first outside pitch, but then he jumped on the meatball on the 2nd pitch.

I think Brucey needs to sit for a few days. Let Heisey play right.
