Stole this idea from 97.1
Which team from outside the big ten would you like to see OSU play every year. They threw out ND bc they said they will eventually join the big.
I would choose Florida. It would have a lot of story lines. Revenge for the nc game. Revenge for all the losses to sec schools. Urban playing his old school. I would also want this game Played in The middle of the season so Florida would have to come here in the cold weather. I also think we could win a lot more then we lose.
Who would you like to see.

Oh yes, those cold days of early October where the average temperature is 52 degrees.sportchampps;1178453 wrote:I would also want this game Played in The middle of the season so Florida would have to come here in the cold weather.

Notre Dame. 100 year contract. 100 wins. EZ money.

Cincinnati.
Purely to shut their stupid fanbase's mouths that OSU is "scared" or to prove that they really are "OSU's little brother."

I don't want them to play anyone in particular, but I do like when they step up the schedule and play other big boy teams. Alabama, LSU, Florida, Florida State, USC and Oregon all come to mind. I'm sure there are others.

Why all the hate for Cincinnati? Some of their fans are just as annoying as some OSU fans.Scarlet_Buckeye;1178595 wrote:Cincinnati.

In the past I always wanted them to play Nebraska but that is taken care of now.

I would like to play Texas, the two biggest AD's and two of the best college towns in the country.

I'll say Cinci as well, just because they're the (second) best in-state school available.

Columbus and Austin are not college towns. They are cities.

The way I understood the OP was "besides Notre Dame." Otherwise, I think that would be most on here's first answer.

I thought ND meant North Dakota. They have the same number of BCS bowl wins and wins over top 5 ranked teams as Notre Dame.killer_ewok;1178662 wrote:The way I understood the OP was "besides Notre Dame." Otherwise, I think that would be most on here's first answer.

I realize I was being redundant, but I was referring to Cinci being the second best team in the state to THE OSULaley23;1178659 wrote: Who is better?

Do you think OSU was better last year? I think Cinci's schedule was a little light compared to OSU's, which made their record look a little better than it was, but I can't say with any certainty that OSU was better than them in 2011.vball10set;1178683 wrote:I realize I was being redundant, but I was referring to Cinci being the second best team in the state to THE OSU

Ok, I was actually confused. Spent about 3 minutes trying to think of another Ohio school. I was thinking you meant OSU, but they cant play themselves??? lol.vball10set;1178683 wrote:I realize I was being redundant, but I was referring to Cinci being the second best team in the state to THE OSU

If it had to be just one I'd say USC, Florida, Texas, or Alabama. Any of those 4 would be awesome to get a yearly rivalry going. But I would prefer what Ohio State has tried to do in scheduling one big power for a home and home every 2 years. Unfortunately some years they suck (Washington, Miami, now Cal) but when they're signed they were good programs and that's all you can do.

No matter who Ohio State schedules everyone will still say they need to play a tougher schedule.

That's a tough one, with OSU's off season problems, coaching uncertainty, etc. My biased side says yes, but I certainly wouldn't have put money on a game between the two. How's that for waffling?FatHobbit;1178688 wrote:Do you think OSU was better last year?
