Just can't get enough of spreading a little more democracy around the globe.

Future conflicts will be small, and not known. There will not be a large land or air invasion of any country any time soon. This is really needed anyways, as AQAP is the biggest al-Qaeda threat out there.

They were a dire threat. Just imagine if we did nothing and the Yemeni navy showed up on our shores. We would have no way of detecting their canoes and blow guns.

US forces are working with the Yemeni government against al queda terrorists, it is not an invasion.

Neither is military recruiters talking to students on college campuses an invasion. Nor is what we did to Iraq and Afghanistan an annihilation. Nor is what George W Bush did a lie. But it is fun to hyperbolize every now and then.

FYI, tonight PBS's Frontline is doing a doc. on al Qaeda in Yemen. Apparently, it is a first hand account of the organization.
