Finally decided to just go to Florida for vacation. We decided on Sanibel Island. Anyone been there? I'm looking for some things to do and when I Google it all I see is stuff about how great of a place it is to find sea shells. I know one or two of the days that I'm there I'm going to go golfing, but what else is there to do?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Take a fishing charter, take the boat to key west, hang out on Ft Myers beach, go to the mucky duck. Not much else. Not my favorite beach/vaca spot.

I've never been there but I worked with a guy one summer in college who would never shut up about the place. I know this doesn't help, but he loved the place so I'm sure there is ton to do.

Take the bridge to the white beach.

Was there when I was eight and it was a blast. We played with our shovels and buckets and also took our Tonka trucks. That alone should be enough to fill your days. Just make sure you get a nap after lunch.
