Voting took place before the bomb dropped.
I wonder if he still gets the award if they voted today?

I heard 1/2 of the voting happened before the accident and 1/2 of the voting happened after the accident. That's what they said on the Herd just now.

Well deserved. And it is "Athlete", not husband or father of the decade.

Lance was gone for the last couple years so this was Tiger's award for sure. The award has nothing to do with his personal problems, just his accomplishments and no athlete can match what he did over the past 10 years.
