Is the talent pool running low and Vicars wants out before his record is tarnished? Or tired of losing to Orrville:laugh:

New grandchild. 2 boys in college athletics. Loves to fish.

He is burnt out. Plus Genoa politics suck.

Coaching at Genoa, no matter the sport really takes a toll on a person. It takes a lot putting up with a few guys on the boosters year-round. But he will be an assistant now, so it will be practically the same staff, just head coach Speiss, instead of Vicars.
