Just watching the second episode. I'm still up in the air...this coming from a fan of Full Metal Joust so my opinion doesn't count.

I've actually saw and met Shane from Joust at a Ren Fair in SW Ohio and he lost his joust that day. Maybe that's why I liked it. I mean riding a horse at full speed could be hard for some, not including getting hit by a pole in the process...unless you are LJ. That was not said to disrespect Lj, as I know he has been around horses and the like as have I growing up.

Real 1%'ers wouldn't let cameras follow them around like this so the credibility of the show comes into question.

I literally do not have near the riding skills that a lot of those pro jousters have. Full speed with no reins and keeping your balance while getting hit? That's some insane shit. I showed Halter, Showmanship and Western Pleasure.... far cry from jousting :laugh:

And LJ, I do not have the experience that you do. Just had some friends that had horses and got to ride them every now and then. Was lucky enough to have one try to buck me off and to be kicked in the back by a colt.

Back to the topic. Devils Ride is somewhat entertaining, but it's no Lizard Lick Towing...
