I'm looking to buy an outdoor movie screen to put up in my brothers pool area. Anyone have any suggestions on what works best? Inflatable or one you have to assemble? I leaning toward an inflatable, but was just looking for some feedback.

I have no actual experience with this but it seems like an inflatable one would be the easiest.

An inflatable one could pop, especially if it is fairly large.
What's the other option? A big white wall?

Use a white bed sheet.

If ya have a solid place to put it..like on the side of a garage or sturdy fixture, a bed sheet or even getting a few of the movie projection screens we always had in school would work.
Friend used to always have a big party for an OSU night game each fall and set one up in the backyard but it was a few hour event to put up. Go with the above idea or a blow up one.

A nice toy, movie screen for a pool. First movie I recommend is a night showing of Jaws, while the kids are floating in the pool.

My wife bought an inflatable screen a couple of years ago. Depending on the pool set-up,,, one concern may be the type of ground it will be placed. The inflatable does require ropes attached to "tent stakes" that are pounded in the ground. If it is a large cemented area this could be an issue.
We use it several times a summer and enjoy it very much. Not too difficult to set up. In the summer at 1 am after a double feature it is a pain to take in all of the electronic speakers, movie projector, etc. The heavy dew is tough on this equipment if left outside.
Some other options:
White sheet attached to thin 1x2's .and hung on the back of a house via hooks.
An old pop-up display booth used at trade shows.... The opposite side is white and this also worked quite well.

You could use a sheet of plywood or drywall with a coat of primer and a couple coats of screen paint.
