PRO: The team was a lot better under him than before him last season.
CON: Since I have a lot of friends who are fans of the Cincy Reds, I can name a couple instances where they fired a manager midway through a season, the interim guy got results down the stretch, they hired the interim guy to be the man and he flopped just as badly as the guy he replaced -- bringing them back to square one.
