Leaving tomorrow for Baton Rouge, and just heard about some construction slow downs in the area of cincy. What area is the slowdown and should I take an alternate route around it? My timing was gonna put me into the area sround rush hour, so I might move up my departure time.

I think there is some work going on 275 or 471 but I am not 100% sure. Also, rush hour is a bitch leaving the city so you'll hit traffic once you get to Kentucky regardless of construction.

There's a ton of construction on 75 southbound...just north of 74. It's crazy. In addition, the 562 ramp to southbound 75 is closed for the next month. So the traffic on 126 going to 75 SB is a bitch.

If you can go down 71 SB instead, I'd say go that route. The only major construction is up near Lebanon. But it's not terrible.

Rush hour traffic sucks, but on 71 it shouldn't be too bad.

Coming from Columbus, so 71 will be the route down to the river.

Then you'll be fine. You'll only hit that little bit right around mile marker 36. But it's not terrible during the day time.
