He's came a long way the past 10 years. Dude was rock bottom....now he's living up to potential....better late than never.

Definitely, but he has a tendency to slip... seems to about once every couple of years. No one's perfect, but he's done damn well.

What kind of contract do you give this guy in the off season?

His numbers dictate he should be a $150-180 million dollar player, but with his history the risk is just off the charts anda circumstance we really haven't seen before.

Someone will pay him. Texas has to be pulling their hair out trying to figure out what to do with him.

They're going to pay him. Really isn't that big of a decision for them, imo.

I think the years are going ot be the biggest issue.

I think they would happily do 4-5 years at $25 a year, but he is going to probably want the 7/8/9 all the other elite sluggers with his production have been getting.

The years I think are what scare the Rangers and any team more than anything because of his history. That is where negotiating is going to be tricky. At least IMO.
