Anyone use these balls?

They remind me of an NXT tour. Def not a Pro V1 but also is only 30 bucks, not 45. Spin is decent enough and distance is a little longer than a Pro V1 but it doesn't have the feel of a Pro V1 in the short game.

What's your opinion on them?

I only play bridgestone e6+. I've heard (from some hack) that the nxt was better than pro v but I never bought it.

Didn't like the NXT. ProV's for me.

Hey Zwick, you ever played/hustled with a guy named Dean Maple???

NXT def is not better than a Pro V1. NXT tour is a decent enough ball though. Only Bridgestone I've ever liked was the b330's

I don't think they are quite soft enough around the greens. They may be a little softer than the NXT Tour but I think the difference is negligible. I will stick with the NXT

I don't think so. Does he get in any SCAGA events?

I doubt it. He's be a lot older than you, middle 40's.

There's a lot of guys older than that playing in SCAGA.

I never was a big fan of NXT tour's. For the same price, the Wilson Staff Tx4's are a lot better of a ball.

I know some guys that love the b330 but it seems like the e6 is the only one I can control.

Nothing beats the Pro V1x - good distance and softness, the perfect ball.

I tend to go ghetto and get the HP Roll, cheap and I love to hit them. Will probably try the Bridgestone e6+ next year.

After doing some research it appears the Tour Prestige is made exactly like the NXT Extreme, but is labled differently so Costco and some of the other big box stores can sell them. Same ball, different box.

When did Titleist release these? How soft wold you say the are around the greens? I just got a dozen ProV's from work and I can't wait to try them out this year. Personally, I'm not worried about distance; I'm more concerned with feel on my approach and short game shots.

Also, probably switching to an insert putter (Odyssey). It'll probably will feel like I"m hitting a pillow with the ProV's, lol.

The tour prestige was the "players" ball in the titleist line after the tour balata, and before the Professional. It had a liquid center and windings around the core. It was not around very long. It had a soft cover that would cut, but was more durable than the old tour balata.
