Who had the best draft and the worst draft?
I think you gotta give the Bengals or Steelers the best draft. Worst draft would be the Seahawks or Dolphins.

Also the Rams had a great draft; one that will pay dividends for the next 2 years too.

Also, if the Browns win more than 4 games next year I'll be f'ing shocked.

Also, Weeden is a ginger. We burned a #22 pick on a 28 year old ginger system QB from a conference that doesn't play defense. Only in Cleveland..

As a Dolphins fan I don't feel we had a horrible draft, we addressed a lot of areas of need.

If it weren't for Irvin being drafted in the 1st by the Seahawks, Tannehill would have been the 1st round's worst pick. And that's saying a lot because the Browns picked a 28 year old ginger QB, but at least it wasn't a top 10 pick.robj55;1156553 wrote:As a Dolphins fan I don't feel we had a horrible draft, we addressed a lot of areas of need.

Tannehill has talent and all the tools, just needs more experience. He can sit behind Matt Moore or Garrard for a year or 2 and I'll be fine with that. Plus he already ran Mike Sherman's offense so it should make for an easy transition.sleeper;1156557 wrote:If it weren't for Irvin being drafted in the 1st by the Seahawks, Tannehill would have been the 1st round's worst pick. I guess we'll see, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Dolphins are picking top 5 next year too.robj55;1156561 wrote:Tannehill has talent and all the tools, just needs more experience. you don't draft someone 8th to sit for 2 years. That's not how a first round pick works.robj55;1156561 wrote:Tannehill has talent and all the tools, just needs more experience. I would rather he sit for a little while, maybe not a full year, but at least half the year. Then when we are out of playoff contention let him get some reps. Kid has talent he just needs to work on decision making.DeyDurkie5;1156565 wrote:you don't draft someone 8th to sit for 2 years. That's not how a first round pick works.

Lol. The dolphins division is so hard to compete in that they can be good and lose 4 division games. Their draft was good until today made some mistakes today imo

Also, at some point we have to address FS, if I have to watch one more year of blown coverage from the safety position..

I'll give Cincinnati the nod as the best. There were some other teams that were strong at the top but the Bengals had the most complete draft, getting good value all three days.
Oakland was probably the worst. Their first pick was No. 95 overall and no real eye-catching picks after that.

I mean I wasn't thrilled but I didn't think it was awful either. Tannehill, Martin at RT, Lamar Miller, BJ Cunningham. Egnew at TE from Mizz. We addressed a lot of needs and I'm glad we are taking a chance on Tannehill. Tired of taking these qb's in the second round who have mediocre talent. Tannehill may not be the most experienced guy but he does have the arm and a ton of talent. Olivier Vernon gives us another pass rusher opposite of Cam Wake.

Okay, everyone, go home. We aren't all experts, we cannot criticize or post our opinions on anything because base_loaded says so.
