I also think that Miami matches up better with OKC than they do with Boston. Boston executes better on both ends and is much better at controlling tempo with Rondo.

Thunder are takin the finals in 5 maybe 6 from either team.

Wade/Bron arent gonna get to the basket uncontested against Perkins/Ibaka. And OKC has the right personnel to run with Miami all day

I will, when it comes to this. He will never live up to the hype that he gave himself, or that the media gives out.

Wonder how much heat LBJ takes if KD wins his ring before him

ESPN probably will be unbearable for a good 2 months. And I even hate LBJ and it will still be too much

They match up horribly vs okc. Who is going to guard Durant? Battier? Lebron? Lebron bitched cause he had to guard kg. whose going to take harden or Westbrook. Westbrook would eat chalmers up all day in the post.

They match up very well with OKC. Wade can guard Harden. Chalmers may struggle with Westbrook but who can guard him anyway? Lebron is more than capable of guarding Durant and doing a good job with it. He held Carmelo to 30% shooting, Danny Granger to about 35% and has Paul Pierce at about 35% right now. Like I said, OKC's tempo plays right into Miami's favor and their one on one and taking a lot of long jump shots with out moving the ball and executing does as well. Teams that slow it down and execute at a high level give Miami problems. I still would favor OKC especially with Bosh just coming back, he will be the wild card and the role players making shots.

People love to twist words and look way too far into shit.

He said it was "taxing" guarding KG and bangin in the paint. Durant and KG are not the same kind of player.

It really is pretty disgusting that this series would be over if not for the worst officiated playoff game in a decade(game 2.)

But, Boston did have a chance to close it out, and will still have a [slim] chance to win game 7.

Assuming Miami wins this series, is that enough to keep the status quo for next year? If they get run over by OKC: does Spoelstra stay? Do they move any of their major pieces?

I bet in the series vs OKC Lebron will spend little time guarding KD, he'll match up with him on occasion but I doubt hes on him the majority of the time. And he did do a good job vs Melo and Granger, but Durant is a whole different beast(pains me to say that).Battier will draw the short straw and end up on Durant the majority of the minutes with LBJ guarding him on spot duty.(like he does most stars with the exception of PP)

Harden and Westbrook collectively are a better backcourt than Wade/Chalmers and will exploit those match ups(especially with the way Wade has been playing horribly and SUPER streaky. But Chalmers is just plain in over his head with those 2

Miami doesnt match up very well because they like to go Iso wade/Lebron and get to the rim...Well OKC has 2 of the absolute best rim defenders in the NBA on their front line and Wade/Bron will be forced to make jumpers themselves, which is neither of their strong points. Sefalosha will do a great job D'ing up Wade and make him REALLY work for his buckets and frustrate the hell out of him im sure. They really dont have anyone to throw at LBJ however so he'll have to step up.

I'm sure KG would argue otherwise but Boston looked old last night. They were beat to every loose ball, they didnt have any lift on their shots......they're done

Big deal and someone not named Lebron James has been an NBA Champion every one of Lebrons 9 years in the NBA. ESPN constantly cherry picks Lebron's stats and makes them sound like they are so historical it's laughable.

I want to see him lose as much as the next guy but sometimes you have to give credit where it's due. He's a massive douche but he was pretty impressive last night

You expect ESPN to just ignore something that hasn't been done in over 2 decades?

That IS historical. lol....you really are the worst.
