2nd White Sox pitcher to throw one in last 3 years (Beuhrle 2009). 21st perfect game in history.

Will there be an asterik because he faced the Mariners?

All kidding aside, a great accomplishment...congrats to him.

Everyone's favorite catcher AJ Pierzynski is now the only catcher to have caught two perfect games

Looked like the Mariners missed a lot of hittable pitches. Takes a lot of skill, luck and some bad hitting to get a perfect game.

FOX catching shit some places for not moving off of what was somewhat of a blowout game to show the end of it (aqpparently they did in most places, but not all).

Said out of hand game was of course a NYY/BOS game

Yeah....Jayson Stark's tweet messed me up. Ramon Castro caught the other one.

Just me or did Brendan Ryan NOT swing on the last pitch?

Its a bad angle. Hard to tell. All that matters is the ump said he did. Its as arbitrary as any ball/strike call. That's baseball.

Kinda crazy the last "2" perfect games have come down to controversial calls. First the Galarraga situation and now Humber's PG

Tough to really tell on that check swing. Typically there are better replays to see but I havent seen one yet.

At first glance it didnt look like it was a swing. ON second look, it looked a little different but whenver the hitter starts his motion and goes that far you really are at the mercy of the umpire.

Humber was on my floor my frosh year at Rice and we hung out a decent amount. Quiet guy, really intense, seemed pretty smart. I'm definitely glad to see him do this!
