Sad to hear. I remember him on American Bandstand and recall when he was a fixture on New Year's Eve (don't get me started on the past few years after his stroke).

On a side note, it's sad that his 1st name is blocked by the filter. I get it, but it's just sad. I always felt bad for him the last few years on New Year's Eve. He just seemed to struggle SOOO much. Hopefully he's a peace now. Regardless, NYE won't be quite the same from now on.

Grew up on American Bandstand and 25,000 dollar pyramid but seeing him on TV the last few years was sad and depressing.
