Easter Sunday he has an emergency appendectomy (it had burst before surgery). By Friday he began developing symptoms of infection, and early this morning was taken to Akron Childrens for another surgery to clear out the infection.

He's an amazing kid, showing so much strength to go through this.

On the surgery, I too had to have an emergency appendectomy last fall. Probably the worst pain I've ever felt, not fun to deal with.

Yeah I had the surgery before. Luckily mine had not burst but I was only 7 or 8 and I still remember the pain. It just came on suddenly while I was playing outside so I came inside and ended up crying for like 5 hours until my dad came home looked in the encyclopedia and took me to the hospital.

One of my favorite charities. I try to buy something, even if it's a cheap thing from Akron Children's list pretty often.
