I truly don't know what you "mean" by your question other than what it said. Sorry.
lol yeah ok - So was god born then? How did he come to life/existence/etc etc etc. Did god just appear and go "i feel like creating some shit today"

Did you really not understand what i meant?

I guess there isn't anything. Still, it's fun to watch you foam at the mouth every time the subject comes up.

That is the part I don't understand. I'm told God is good, all-loving, etc. I'm told that God can't be humanized and I hear a lot of poor excuses as to why he exhibits some of the worst human qualities there are.

Sometimes, it seems like what God is saying goes something like this:

You can do what you want, but if you don't tell people how great I am, you can go to hell. Aren't I great for giving you choices?
Don't do bad things to other people or you can go to hell. Second thought, if you do bad things to other people but tell me how great I am at the end of the day, we're still cool.
Wait what? You think some other god did all this? You can go to hell.
I love you so much. All I'm asking is for you to love me back. If you do, I'll reward you in ways you can't even fathom. If you don't love me back in exactly the way I say to, fuckyougotohell.
Still don't want to believe me, eh? How about I kill my son to show you how much I love you?
Gawd these people suck. I'm gonna take a mulligan on this go-round and start over. Dude, you're about the only guy I can stand, grab some animals and build a boat while I kill everyone else. Oh damn, that didn't quite bring the satisfaction I thought it would. Alright, I'm never gonna do something like that again. But someday you guys are gonna fuck this whole thing up on your own and when you do, if you pissed me off, fuckyougotohell.

Jealousy, insecurity, possessiveness, vengefulness, psychosis, murderous. Those are a lot of terrible qualities.

Person 1: OH SNAP
God: but anyways, here's some Kush and a bitch. enjoy my heaven ngga.
Person 1: thanks god!..oh yeah, god..is skyhook and cats gone wild up here?
God: No, son. Those two were huge ****. We sent them to hell to get butt raped.

This needs sent out in emails. Just so there would be one actual entertaining "FWD: FWD: FWD:" one out there instead of all the fucking bullshit those emails generally contain.

Indeed. God isn't so perfect after all. Like I've said, an entire belief system can be ravaged by simple logic games. That should be enough for a rational person to dismiss all religions as hogwash.

I think Religion is dumb, but I am not opposed to being spiritual. I try to live right and do well by others, and I believe there's a God, I just don't know or pretend to know anything about him/her/it. I'm not going to blindly devote myself to something dudes 2000 years ago thought, just because I'm told to. If God's so great, he wouldn't need me to tell him how great he is. He'd just want me to live a good life. I guess that's how I see it.

My answer is the same to this question as is to the question who created GOD?

How do you know he was born? I don't.

If there is some other meaning to your question other than the obvious ones regarding who created God or who who was He born from, i really don't understand your question.

Oh excuse me, the body and blood of Christ. Get real.
Different groups of Christians believe differently about the the Holy Sacrament of Communion. Some believe it is the body and blood of Christ while others believe in transfiguration.

P.S. I don't attend 'Mass'. That's a Catholic thing.

I don't think we are pawns... either way you have eternal life. One way you are in the presence of God. The other you are not.

I see the differences as meaningless. The fact that Christianity and Catholicism are different just shows theirs even greater fragmentation in the belief systems available. I hope you picked the correct one, especially since none of them have any greater evidence than any other, so the decision was probably very difficult.

Can you, in the future, preference such claims with "I think" or "I believe". There is no evidence for eternal life. This is a claim. In order to make a claim, you must have evidence.

I respectfully decline. I don't recognize your requirement of must having evidence any more than you do of my statement of eternal life.

You believe in something that has no origin but believe that to be the creator of the world. It makes no sense. "I don't know where this god came from, but what the hell, i'm going to devote my life to him anyways based on stories i heard from strangers"

You do realize that by claiming a statement as fact, without providing said evidence, that you are committing fraud in the court of logic and reason?

Just so we are on the same page.

Of you you see it as meaningless. You see all of Christianity as meaningless.

Why would you have any hope regarding the outcome of my decision at all? That seems kind of peculiar but thanks for the sentiment, I guess.

The decision was not difficult for me at all. It was based on the Grace of God through the presence of the Holy Spirit, prayer and reading of the Holy Scriptures.

So it was based on a self-fulfilling prophecy of Hogwash. Interesting that you use objects of the religion to justify the religion. I find your comments disingenuous and notable that you are hiding the true basis behind why you chose your particular brand of religion(most likely either childhood indoctrination or a mid-life crises).

The court of logic and reason isn't what faith based religion is determined. Such a court has no bearing on my claims. It is not the approval of such a "Court" that I seek. Certainly you knew that already.

So you admit your beliefs are purely based on nothing but faith?

Do you see the flaw in this type of thinking, or do you need me to show you?

I don't justify the religion. I have no need to. It's not others that I seek affirmation from. I don't accept this religion so that others might see me in a different light.

Wow. Have I ever given you reason to believe it's based on anything other than faith? Yes, by faith alone.

It's not a thought process. It's not reason or logic. It's greater than those two combined.

So when you make a big decision like modifying the very core of your existence, you don't need to justify that said decision is correct and accurate?

I don't know if I believe that; you don't seem to be illogical.

Faith is not greater than logic or reason. I'm thankful that the great scientists and doctors did not rely on faith to create the next cancer drug or medical device. You should be too, if you've ever had a health issue.
