Which one?
Why?
I would choose the Bengals. I would choose them because the NFL is the biggest cash cow and is somehow still growing. The salary cap allows small market teams the chance to compete. The Bengals also have a good stadium situation. I also like their young talent with money to spend. The fans would love anyone besides Brown and their one of my favorite teams.
Others I would consider
Yankees bc of their tv network and how much money it makes
Cubs love Chicago and wrigley
Seattle sounders sport is growing in America team would be cheap best market for the sport

Bengals wouldn't be bad. Very little pressure in Ohio.
You have the Reds that carry the pressure of the city as the number one team.
You have high school football and Ohio State to really carry the city specifically during football season.
You have great college basketball surrounding the area, which can cover up a lot of the Spring attention.
Like you said, it's an NFL team, which is the #1 cash cow regardless of the market. The stadium is being robbed from the city, not really costing the team. It really is a great situation...

My dream would be the Detroit Red Wings.
If I had $2 Billion though I'd buy the Reds or Pirates and just stack my team. Honestly I'm such a sports fan and competitor I'd blow money left and right to win pennants and WS titles. I'd assemble an amazing scouting department since prospects are how franchises ultimately win titles and develop guys extra long in the minors

Browns would be first. A lot of changes would happen starting with bringing in a bunch of people who KNOW the Cleveland market and who have ties to the city. People who give a shit.

I'll go with Manchester United or Dallas Cowboys because they are worth the most. Wrigley and the Cubs would be a blast just because it's Chicago.
The local pro sports team that would be fun to own is St Paris Graham's wrestling team, because of it's property and profit margin.
(edit) Funny.....the comment about the local pro sports team was a response immediately!
As for recruiting............prove it, please. Then maybe it could stop.

The wrestlers get paid by scholarships from the universities in which they are accepted. No money exchanges hands while they are still in HS, unless they are employed at camps.like_that;1135295 wrote:So, you do admit to Graham recruiting and paying their wrestlers? .

Anyway, easily Browns for me. Would also love to put the Cleveland media in their place while I was president. I would say the Cavs, but Gilbert is a good owner, and you need good money to compete in the MLB, so if i bought the tribe and didn't have the money, I would immediately sell the team to Mark Cuban.

It would be the Browns for me. I'd move the stadium to on top of Art Modell's grave, with all the toilets draining into his coffin.

Reds and Twins can pay big bucks to keep their studs, yet the poor little Tribe can't do it and have to trade them away for Matt LaPorta. SMH, fuck off dolans.justincredible;1135354 wrote:Absolutely.

Boston Bruins because i'm a homer. I'd also think about purchasing the Steelers or Penguins and turning them into the worst teams in the league.

Columbus Crew -- only because they need help with their ownership and marketing.
