Below is a link to the pay of many of the nations top basketball coaches. Did Roy Williams take a pay cut when he left Kansas for UNC? 4 of the highest paid coaches made the Final Four. Coincidence?? Mark Few must love his job because he could make much more money if he wanted to. It looks like N.C. State got a bargain..... Any other thoughts?

The B1G pays their coaches a whole hell of a lot, on the whole. The six that made it averaged $2.57m in total pay.

BTN and best TV deals will do that. Shared revenue from football as well, and their football makes the most of any conference (I think???).

Guessing it's close between the them and the SEC. Basketball is also the highest grossing of any conference (I think, might be ACC). From 2009, six of the top 16 grossing programs were B1G (6. Wisconsin, 8. Indiana, 9. Ohio State, 10. Michigan State, 14. Illinois, 16. Minnesota)

SEC probably would be the highest but most of their schools go bargain basement on paying coaches. Unless of course they decide it's "time to appear serious about winning."

In reality, SEC schools could really care less about basketball as long as football is thriving.
