I'm thinking of buying a TV. Anyone know where to find the invoice for Tv's? That way I can show Best Buy who's boss!

I used edmunds and USNews reviews when I bought mine.

Another good indicator is determining how long the car has been on the lot. The longer it's been there, the more you can deal.

You can never go wrong with "consumer reports"
Everytime I have bought something that was rated very high it worked out that way

Basically looking for a place that has the price they paid. Offer them 250 over with a blank check in hand. See if they let me leave

edmunds and its forums. You'll find plenty of information there.

Rydawg got pissed off in dlazz's thread when I told dlazz to ask the dealer for the invoice price and haggle him from there.

Rydawg said that we should basically screw ourselves because the salesman is just trying to make a living and we're squeezing his pockets by negotiating.

I found edmunds to be the most helpful with buying guides and what to watch for.

I did something similar and used http://www.truecar.com/ for most of my pricing info. I thought it worked well.
